This Saturday morning, we got up before the sunshine to go to Redbud Park for the local balloon festival. Mommy and daddy raced in a 10k at 8am, just as the first batch of hot air balloons took flight. Grant and I got to play with our babysitter, Victoria, while mommy and daddy ran. We played on the swings, watched the balloons, and went down the slide - what a fun morning! Mommy and daddy did well in their race, too - they both took home first place for their age groups.

After mommy and daddy were done running, I got to ride a pony!! Actually, she was a horse, not a pony. Her name was candy! One of my favorite things! What a nice horsey.

Of course, I'm so small, mommy had to hold me in place. Thanks for the ride, Candy!

Keira, you need to ask Daddy for a pony! Hommie and Dabi
You actually got to see the balloons launch? For the last 3 years we were there, we never saw it done. It was either too windy or something. So congrats...I was beginning to wonder how many years they would continue to do it and never "actually" launch them.
Go team Vlaun! Congratulations Brian and Meg.
