Tummy Time

Mommy bought me a tummy time surfboard mat. It's really fun - until I'm tired of tummy time. Look at me! I'm starting to crawl! Unfortunately, though my legs are already strong enough, I have no arm or chest strength, so I'm stuck in the same spot for now, just flailing my legs.

Wakie Time!

Every morning when I wake, mommy and daddy play the smiling game with me. Here's how it goes: Mommy smiles at me, I smile at mommy. Daddy smiles at me, I smile at daddy. Then I look at myself in the mirror on my swing, and I smile at myself. Then I smile at mommy and daddy some more until I realize I'm hungry and want to eat. Mornings are awesome! I'm such a ham.

Keira Kangaroo

Today mommy tried out a few different carriers she has for me. This is one of the sling carriers - it's so comfy! I fell asleep as soon as she put me in. Don't I look like a baby kangaroo?

Here I am in my swing at our new home in Texas. Unfortunately, I can't remember much about this swing, considering that I fell asleep in it as soon as daddy strapped me in and started swinging me.

Daniel held me while mommy hosed daddy down at his fini flight. She got to use the hose from a big fire truck!! Man-oh-man did daddy get wet! Then, later, Jenn held me when we went out to Sanford's for our "Good Bye" dinner.

The Best Sunday Ever!

Daddy comes home from Las Vegas today! He graduated yesterday and now we're going to have some time to spend together. I can't wait to see my daddy! Now I have to decide which dress to wear to the airport to pick him up. Should I wear this one? Mommy says all of these dresses are special...once when she was a wee little girl the same age as me, she wore them herself! Thank you, Grandma K for the pretty dresses! Or should I wear this one? Or this one?

Grammie Time!

I was right! Grammie came to Abilene to meet me! And Grammie is so much fun! She sings me songs, tells me fantastic stories, and makes me so happy. Momma and Grammie say that Grampie is pretty great too - now I can't wait to meet him!

Gettin' Ready for Grammie

Grammie comes to Abilene today! Momma says she's coming for the ice cream...but I think mom's wrong...I think she wants to meet me. Just in case, I'm going to wear one of the ice cream cone outfits she gave me. Then I'll be irresistible!
