Now Just Wait a Cotton Pickin' Minute!

Today I went on a cotton picking field trip with my class from First Baptist Kindergarten. These are all my friends from my class at school! Picking my first bits of cotton. CHEEEEESE! At first, Grant was just a ham... But then he started to help me pick cotton and fill up my bag. We'll do it together, do it together, that'll be great! We'll have fun and get things done, when we cooperate!! After picking cotton, we toured around a giant cotton cultivating machine. Here, baby brother and I are sitting in the front wheel. Then, I was lucky enough to be allowed to climb up!! Yippee for heavy machinery! The cultivator - and little ol' me.

Rainy Day at the Grande Ole Pumpkin Patch in Clanton

Here we are at the Grande Ole Pumpkin Patch in Clanton, AL. They have bouncy castles, pony rides, a petting zoo, lots of sunflowers and pumpkins and a GIANT SANDBOX. Sadly, it rained the whole time we were there today...but we didn't let it dampen our fun. Here we are, on the hayride to find our pumpkins. The boys. One of my happiest smiles. I can't wait 'til after nap, when we can carve our Jack-O-Lanterns! Grant is channeling the sumo within in preparation for carrying a humongous pumpkin back to the car. We love pumpkin-searching! Now everybody roar like a DINOSAUR! ROOOOOOOAAAAR! The whole fam. Where's Grant-O?

Grant and I love our new glow-in-the-dark skeleton PJs!!! Grant got some first, and I liked his SOOOO much, that I sent Mommy and Daddy on a hunt for some that are pink.

Alabama National Fair

Today, we went to see the Alabama National Fair in the Montgomery Fairgrounds. They had racing pigs, playing seals, scary sharks, pretty horses (real and carousel), and even a circus! He's not a happy kid, most of the time.Here I am, watching the silly clown fix his broken car at the circus. We saw trapeze artists, dogs that did lots of tricks, prancing ponies and more at the circus! What a fun night! Mommy says we might go back next weekend to see what else is going on...

New Winter Hats from Grandpa & Grama Debbie

This one comes with MITTENS! Mommy can tell us to say, "Cheese" all she wants, our smiles are more genuine when she just makes a major fool of herself before pressing the button on the camera. I love to scream... at my brother Grant.

Oktoberfest, Atlanta

After a nice dinner at Fado, the Irish Pub, in Atlanta, there was an ooompa band playing out on the street, where people were enjoying Oktoberfest activities. I couldn't resist taking a turn round the dance floor with the best dance partner in the universe: my brother.

Georgia Aquarium

This weekend, we went to Atlanta to see the Georgia Aquarium. We got to see lots of jellyfish. Grant, my little brother, really likes jellyfish.This fish tank had a window that was 28ft tall and 60ft wide! Inside, there were all sorts of sharks (bonnetheads, four giant whale sharks, black tips, sand sharks, and more), two manta rays, lots of little sting rays, various different types of tropical fish, and two kinds of giant grouper. Right here, it looks like Grant is about to get eaten by a grouper! Don't worry, little guy, I'll save you! Putting on our best smiles for the camera! In front of the tropical fish with my hero: my daddy. Inside, there were fish like Dori, Gill and Bubbles! Grant had fun most of the time......until naptime - then he got cranky. "ARRRRRR!"

All Aboard the Choo Choo Chrain!

Grant and I were singing the Choo Choo Soul song from Playhouse Disney as we played with Grant's new birthday presents. This is how Daddy found us when he finished mowing the lawn this morning.

Grant's Birthday Booty

For his birthday, Grant got (among other things), a Thomas the Train play table along with LOTS of Thomas trains and tracks, as well as a Hot Wheels parking garage and a billion new matchbox cars. Mommy will be sending out a lot of thank you notes, for all of the hours of entertainment she gleaned whilst playing with Grant's new toys. Here is her first creation - two Lightning McQueen cars crashed and were attended by a myriad of emergency vehicles including: police car, tow truck, ambulance, and three fire trucks. Of course, the wreckage was pulled from the road early on, to allow a Target truck and an Irish Double-Decker tour bus to pass. Please note that within the parking garage, one car is getting an oil change, one is getting a car wash, three cars are legally parked, one illegally parked, and a line is beginning to queue at the entrance because one of the ticket booths is malfunctioning. Thank you Grandpa & Debbie, Hommie & Dabi and everyone who provided the accessories! ------- Actually, it looks like Grant might have confiscated the car getting an oil change and the illegally parked car before mommy could locate the camera.

Scallywag Grant's 2nd Birthday Bash - Prattville YMCA

Here I am with Grant and all of my best friends from Alabama (although three of them are missing from the picture). Today was Grant's 2nd Birthday Party!! The theme was pirates, and we all had so much fun playing on the indoor playground and eating cake together at the Prattville YMCA. Blow out the candles, baby brother. And don't spit on the cake... YUMMM! ARRRRR! Time for presents! Grant got so many awesome presents for his birthday!All of our friends watched as I opened all of Grant's presents for him (he wasn't so interested in the opening part as much as the playing part).
