Fiesta Time with Dora!!

Look at my new toy! It's a big fort with balls inside to throw around. It has a big red ball with a jingle bell hanging from the ceiling that I can bop bop bop, and peek-a-boo windows in the sides so that I can see mommy and daddy while I play. I played and played in my new toy today, until I wore myself out! I was so tired, I passed out in my crib faster than you can say - sleepytime! Here, daddy is playing with me. I especially love to crawl in and out of my new fort, over the inflatable sides, but that takes a lot of work! Peek-a-boo! I see you!

Cupboard Rummaging

Here I am, making a mess in the cupboard. I walked over here, hanging onto walls and furniture, from the living room!

Disney World, Here I Come!

Daddy and mommy just told me that we're going to Disney World this summer! I can't wait! Since Grammie and Grampy sent me my very own suitcase, I thought I'd better get a head start on my packing...I've got my stuffed doggie, my favorite top, a few good books, some plastic vegetables...wonder if there's enough room for my swing? Mommy said that since I can walk now, I can bring my own carry-on - this stuff will definitely keep me busy on the plane!!

LASAGNA!

Finally, mommy found a food that I like enough to feed it to myself - LASAGNA! I made a pretty mess, but MAN it was yummy!

Under the Table

I crawled across the room, under the table. Now I'm trying to stand up under the table...but I'm too tall!!! Can you believe I took my first steps today?! Mommy wasn't prepared, so she didn't have a camera ready - but it's true! There were lots of witnesses! I'm such a big girl. Guess I'd better just goof off sitting down, instead.

Helping Around the House

Walking Around

Daddy's helping me learn how to walk. I'm getting better and better at this. Sometimes, I just like to hold onto things and take a stroll around the house all on my own. Don't blink - I move fast!

The Real St. Patty's Day Celebration

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Two little leprechauns! The treasure of two pots of gold...what a find! Mommy and Aunt BK are very silly...they made Courtney and me sit in pots of gold and put weird hats on our heads so they could take pictures. I do suppose we are cute, however. Are you speaking to me? Top of the mornin' to ye! Sometimes, I don't like to sit still long enough for mommy to take my picture. What's that, a camera? May I have it please?

Aunt BK's Birthday

We got to celebrate Aunt BK's birthday, too. Mr. Arthur and Ms. Marvella were there, and we all dressed up in our St. Patty's Day getup - early!

Uncle Mark's Birthday

We all celebrated uncle Mark's birthday together at Grammie and Grampy's house. Here, cousin Brooke is helping her daddy to open his presents. That afternoon, cousin Brooke also fell asleep on Grammie - it was kinda cute. Here I am, practicing walking with Grandma. Here we are - all the ladies sitting pretty in the living room. Three generations of ladies in each direction (plus two on the way)!

It's Official! I'm going to be a big sister!

Mommy took me to the doctor's office today - but her doctor, not mine. We watched her tummy on a monitor, and look what I saw!!! Mommy said there is a baby in her tummy, and that I will be a big sister this September! My gosh...I've got lots of work to do...we gotta get ready. Here, you can see baby's head, body, legs and even an arm and a hand! Here, you can see the baby's head - face-on. Look, you can see eyes, a nose, and even some little legs and arms! What a neat picture. I love my little baby brother or sister already.

Flower Child

It's springtime in Texas! Babies are in bloom. It was 78 degrees out today - wowie! I couldn't get my pretty hat on without daddy's help. Afterward, I asked daddy what I looked like, and he said, "Here, I'll show you!"

More Swing Time

Swing time! Hey - check out my swing post on July 10, 2006 to see how much I've grown!! And this time, I didn't fall asleep - though I did kind of zombie out a little bit since I was really sick yesterday and didn't sleep well last night. Like my hair? It costs a pretty penny to get it looking so nice... Ahhh, there's nothing better than sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying a peaceful, warm, Monday afternoon. OK, Mommy, come a little bit closer so I can grab the camera...that would be fun!

Since it was so warm out today (75!!), mommy let me play in my skivvies. Here I am, trying to walk around the kitchen. My toes got a little cold...

Here I am, walking around in my pretty Valentine's Day outfit...too bad you can't see it so well in this picture, cuz it's a cool outfit! I looked cute. Thanks, Grammie! :) Be mine! Ha ha. I'm using my new tooth to eat Cheerios.

A Beautiful, Sunny Day!

It was 70 degrees today! Mommy and I couldn't resist a trip to the park and a ride on the swing. We weren't the only ones taking advantage of the beautiful weather.After the swing, I got to go visit the prairie dog town and wave at the funny prairie dogs. One of them barked at me until we went away. They're so cute...but mommy says I can't have one as a pet because they're not nice, and they're dirty.

Peek-A-Boo

Here I am playing Peek-A-Boo with mommy through my crib bars. I also pulled myself up into a standing position three times while we were playing. Sadly, mommy didn't catch it on video...guess mommy and daddy are going to have to drop my mattress down soon (but not yet, because right now, I still can't figure out how to sit up on my own, first).
