LIZARDS! SSSSSNAKES! HIPPOS TOO!

After the zoo, we took a train ride through the park. It was my first time on a train! Baby brother and Dabi enjoyed the ride too.After dinner at Joe's Crab Shack, we went for a stroll along the River Walk and WHAMMO! We found the ALAMO! And then, later that evening, we took a boat ride around the River Walk - we heard music as we passed some dancers on the river's edge, and Grant started clapping! DANCE BABY, DANCE!!

San Antonio Take Two: Day One

Our first night in San Antonio, we went to a very authentic Mexican Restaurant in Market Square, where we were serenaded by a Mariachi Band. They were so much fun! And I danced and danced! Even Baby Bro had a blast with his Dabi!

Bumping heads with Hommie... REALLY made me laugh. And then we topped it all off with my very first pillow fight!! YAY!

Stretching with Daddy

Whew! That was quite a run...now it's time for some stretching. Gotta make sure my little muscles don't get too tight. What's so funny, Daddy? Focus, please.

Road Trip: The Nike+ Human Race

This weekend, we went to Austin so that Grant and I could be a part of the Nike+ Human Race 10k. Apparently, we got to run with Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey, though we never really had the chance to see them, since mommy couldn't catch up with them, pushing us in the jogging stroller. But what fun - our very first 10k!! Here we are during Ben Harper's post-race concert in front of the Texas Capitol Building. Just crossing the finish line - notice the sea of red jerseys behind us. They said that there were about 15,000 people in the race! HOLY COW! That's a lot of people. Baby and I are really wet because mommy kept running us under the sprinklers along the route. We were such good babies for the race, we didn't even fight! If you look really closely, you can see our halos.

Austin Kiddie Limits

Austin had a Children's Museum where I got to put on a cowboy hat and play a banjo! Here I am, tearing up the dance floor.

Take On the Heat Triathlon

This weekend, we went to Dallas/Ft Worth so that mommy could run another triathlon. This time she got a bronze medal! Third in her age group! Go Mommy!!!

Volente Beach - Lake Travis Day 4

Rain drops keep fallin' on my head! AAAARGH! Baby bro and Debbie - just spectating. It only took me two years to jump on the Barney Train! Here I am, riding in the van to Volente Beach with Debbie and baby brother.

Pirate Ship - Volente Beach

Mommy and Grant on the Pirate Ship slide. TA DA!!! I got a 9.9 for that one! I'd get a gold medal if they had Olympic sliding. Then, Mommy and Daddy went on the grown-up slide. It looked pretty scary to me, but Daddy seemed to enjoy it!

Lake Travis - Day 3

Today we rented a pontoon boat and went swimming in the lake. Grant had such a great time! Can you tell?

Although daddy's brother is Captain of a 225' buoy tender, daddy was momentarily Captain of a rickety old pontoon 22' boat, which I thought was pretty cool anyway.

The Hollows - Day 1 - Continued...

Grandpa is smiling for the camera, but Grant was waving to the ladies... This is the obligatory "pool overlooking the lake" pic - I wanted the purple goggles, which weren't mine, and Grant prefers not to face the sun. Here's our Cottage, for memory's sake. Mommy loves her minivan.
