Cinderella's 2nd Birthday Bash

Today we celebrated my second birthday. Actually, my birthday is Wednesday the 21st, but we still had a grand celebration! I had over my friends from the neighborhood and we had cake, fun and presents. It was a Cinderella party, and I got to be Cinderella. What a blast! Here I am, riding on my new horse out in front of my castle - thank you Grandpa and Debbie! Before the chaos ensued.

Looks crazy, doesn't it?! Here I am, sitting with Carlie, Mollie and Nora at the ladies' table, eating our cake. Nora and Sia, enjoying some cake together. Nora's daddy is finally home from Iraq, see him sitting back there? He's pretty cool. YAY! It's time for presents!! Mommy, can you help me? Actually, I kind of lost interest in opening presents after I opened up some bubbles. Oh well!

Everyone really enjoyed my water table - I think it helped them to stay cool. Nora and Sia kept dunking their heads in the water! Haha. Even princesses get really hot and thirsty sometimes. It WAS 93 degrees out, after all. Whew! What an afternoon!

Choo Choo Train

Today, I helped mommy bring in the boxes from Sam's Club. Then I lined them all up in the kitchen and said, "This is my choo choo train! CHOO CHOO!" I think, if I stand on this box, I might be able to reach the cookies.

Two New Teeth!

There he is...showing off those new pearly whites. He's awfully happy for a teething baby, I think.

Sprinklers!

This evening, we were outside playing, getting ready to go in for our baths and bedtime, when the sprinklers came on! I got so wet! Hooray for sprinklers!

"Helping" Baby Grant Stand

Here I am, helping the baby stand and play with a toy. I'm such a good big sister. (Actually, I'm just tickling him.) But...he doesn't need me. And I'd much prefer to run around the living room like a little crazy. Wheeeeeee! OK, Mommy, I'll stand still long enough to pose for a photo.

Air Show

This past Saturday, mommy took us to see daddy's plane at the air show. We also got to see little planes doing aerial acrobatics, and a C-130 drop a Hummer! I HAD SO MUCH FUN! And I love Miss Jenn and Mr Dan so much...I wouldn't let her put me down! Waiting for the Hummer to drop.

Zoo Party

Today, Mommy, Miss Shannon and Miss Marcy took us kids out to the Zoo. Some of my closest friends were there - from left to right: Nick, Connor, Baby Grant, Me, Nora and Sophia (Sia). Altogether, we were six kids, plus Miss Marcy has one on the way. Here we all are by the sleeping monkeys. Miss Marcy, pulling Connor, Sia and Nora in our wagon. Since Sia's mommy couldn't come to the zoo, we put her carseat between mine and the baby's in the truck and brought her with us! Peek-a-boo, baby!!

Nick, Sia and I got to feed the giraffes with Miss Shannon and Mommy. Nick really just wanted to eat the crackers himself...but that's ok, I still think he's cool. Chatting with the ladies about the big black bear. I think Sia likes the monkeys!! I'm looking out for leopards with Connor, Nick and their mommy, Shannon. My buddies and me - panther hunting.

Tea Party!

"OK Baby, let's pour you some tea..." "Do you need some help with the cup? Here ya go!" I'm so silly, mommy laughs at me because I insisted on all the trimmings for our tea party, including watermelon and cheese, oh, and because I call it a "Pee pot" instead of a "Tea pot."

Playing Outside

PEEEEEEEK! A-BOO! Here I am, cooling off at my lovely water table. It's fun, you see, you push down these buttons on the sides, and it sprays water at you. Of course, the putter doesn't really belong in there, but I'm also learning how to golf, so it goes with me wherever I go.

I feel pretty!

I LOOOOVE Mommy's makeup drawer. And I love putting on makeup. Just look what I can do with a little eye liner! Now I'll be the belle of the ball! If only I had a ball to go to...and a Prince Charming... I feel happy, and giddy and GAY! And I pity anyone who isn't me today....LALALALALALALALALALALA.

Baby brother is super drooly. He's getting two new teeth! But we still think he's cute. My new denim dress and corduroy jacket - I insisted on the boots. No other shoes would do!

Playdate with Nora

I went over to Nora's house today for a play date. We had so much fun together! I absolutely loved her rocking horse!!

Nelson Park

Mommy took Grant and me to the park today to play with Aiden and his little brother, Rowan. I got to slide down the slide all by myself! And there were ducks in the lake - those were cool. I almost went swimming with them. Oops. The downside to plastic playgrounds. Wheeeeeee!
