This afternoon, mommy took us to the playground. I was actually brave enough to climb on the playground, all by myself, while mommy watched baby brother.
I even slid down the slides, and crawled through the tunnels. See mommy in this picture?
When we were done, my hair was a mess. I have no idea how it got that way!

Afterward, I tried to pull him, too. But I'm too little...and not strong enough. :( Maybe in a few months.
OK...so maybe it's almost time to put baby brother in the big kid bath. Since he can sit on his own now...and make HUGE splashes all over the mirror. That kid thinks he's so cute, making big messes.
See?! Look at him splashing! I hope you're ready to help clean that up, Mister!
Saturday night, we had Miss Shannon and Mr. Mike over for dinner. So I got to play all evening with my friends Connor and Nicholas. We made huge messes together and then jumped on my bed. Miss Shannon says Connor is quite skilled at getting the girls to show him their bedrooms...I'm not sure if this is a highly respected skill, but I think she's right.
This Saturday morning, baby brother had his first real food breakfast. Well...I guess you can't really call it that. It was mostly milk, with only a little bit of cereal. AND he didn't really eat any of it. Mommy says we'll try again next week.
Grant got lots of time to play with his Hommie and Dabi when they came to visit. He had so much fun.
Hommie sure knows how to make him laugh and smile...of course, he is pretty ticklish.

And Hommie brought me a tea set. So I had tea with Hommie, HaHa (my monkey) and Rosa. It was a beautiful teatime.
And of course, we had piggy back rides with daddy. Grant wasn't so sure about the whole matter, but I thought it was fun.
Mommy "babysat" Lauren and Adelaide last week. Here I am, drawing with Lauren. She is teaching me about the different colors.
And Adelaide sorted cups...she was also learning her colors. We had so much fun playing together - Lauren and Addie are so polite!
Mommy bought me a Cinderella gown! She always calls me her "princess" and now I can really be one! (please disregard the price tag hanging from my armpit, so tacky - princesses should be more proper than that)
Here I am, sitting at the new kitchen table. The first thing I wanted to do when I woke from my nap and saw the new table was to climb up into one of the chairs. Did you know that I get my own chair now?! No more high chair - I'm such a big girl.
He's grabbing, gnawing, smiling and DROOLING daily, now!
And he has a new big boy carseat just like mine (except his doesn't have purple flowers all over it, and he still has to ride facing the back of the car, because he's too small to sit facing forward like me - I'm a big girl). He told me he likes his carseat more than mine because it matches the car better: black, tan and brown. Whatever, he's just jealous of my purple flowers. BOYS!
Mommy won't leave his side yet, because he's still really shaky, but look at my baby brother standing and playing with a toy! As a side note: It looks like he wants a toddler bed like mine. "But it's my bed!" I told him.
Mommy and I "babysat" my friends, Dominic and Sophia this Tuesday morning. We had so much fun playing together. First, we played in the family room...
Sia even made sure to include Grant in all the fun.
Then we played in the living room....
Then Dominic and I played in the couch pillows for a really long time...
And then mommy had to feed baby brother, so we all got to watch the Robinsons and eat fruit snacks together. What a fun morning with my friends!
I'm not decided yet...those eyes are either saying, "My daddy: my hero," or "Whatcha eating?" I have a cute baby brother.
Mommy said she first saw him do it over the video monitor during one of his naps. None of us believed her. But this time she caught it on camera! Here he goes...
Go, Grant, Go! You can do it!

This evening, I was trying to be as helpful as possible (even though I still don't feel good). Here I am, handing baby Grant the toy he dropped. I'm such a good big sister, don't you think?
Ever since Grammie taught me how to sing, "In the cottage, in the woods," I've been learning what it means to help. I can say, "Help me!" Actually, it sounds more like, "Helpie," but mommy still understands. So mommy asked me to help her with some chores this evening, and I followed her around the whole time, saying, "Helpie, helpie, helpie."
Being helpful is fun.
Well, here I am. Mommy took me to the doctor's office today, since it's the fourth day that I've spiked a high fever. I guess I'll probably live, but the doctor took a nasty swabby swab from my boogers and found out that I have the flu. What does "train wreck" mean? Mommy called me that today.
Well, mommy gave me a special OJ, banana and pineapple smoothie (a.k.a. "yummy jush"), some pedialite & water (a.k.a. "apa jush"), and a "baggie" each of cheerios and goldfish, then let me watch as much TV and movies as I wanted. I may not feel so good, but that was pretty cool.
Hommie sent me this awesome Valentine's Day outfit...it comes with pretty barrettes and these cool sunglasses. I wore them for hours after I got them in the mail. Didn't want to take them off!
I called Hommie today and sang her the ABC song...I'm getting really good at singing - just ask her!
Lookie, baby bro doesn't need to be swaddled anymore. He sleeps so well! Awwww...he's so cute.
Oopsie! Sorry to wake you, baby boy.
So, yeah...baby Grant is getting bigger. And cuter. And less lumpy - more mobile. Here he is, playing on a blanket in our family room. Mommy and daddy cut his hair so that it wouldn't look so silly. He looks far more handsome now, if I do say so myself. Oh, and if he looks a little fuzzy that's because I got goo all over mommy and daddy's camera lens, and they can't get it off.
Two new developments: Baby bro has found his toes, and two teeth!

Mommy says that it always makes her day when I give her snuggles. So I always save them for the most special days.
I'm a big girl now, I don't have to use the baby swing anymore. Do you like the new swing daddy got for me? I LOVE IT!!!
This Saturday morning, daddy came in to my bedroom to find me in the middle of the floor. I had climbed out of my crib!! So, out of necessity, mommy and daddy decided to turn my crib into a "Big Girl Bed" (toddler bed). They took off the front, and replaced it with a little guard so that I don't fall out in the middle of the night. Now I can get in and out of my bed all on my own (and smuggle in whatever toys I like during the night)! I LOVE my big girl bed.

Even Baby Bro got in on the New Year's Celebration. We had noisemakers, confetti, necklaces, and even cool hats. Sadly, we didn't get to stay up until 12:00 to ring in the new year. We just had a little party at 7:00, before we went to bed.
