Time for solids

It's time to start solids! Tonight I had my first meal of rice cereal. I LOVED IT! I ate the whole thing then licked the bowl. We don't have a high chair yet...but daddy makes a good substitute. Yummmmmmmmy!!!

But I'd much rather feed myself...

It's amazing how this works! I know there's more in here...and I'm going to find it. Ahh the pleasures of feeding myself...

Mommy says that Halloween is just around the corner, and I'd better get ready. So I thought I'd try on one of my costumes today...do you think this will work? I just can't decide... But it sure does get me lots of cuddles!

My Cousin: Baby Courtney

My baby cousin Courtney was born this Sunday, 10/15/06 at 7:32am. She was a little baby! Only 4lbs 6oz. I can't wait to meet her in person - maybe early next week.

Casey's Baby Shower

Today mommy took me to my friend, Lauren's mommy's baby shower. I guess Lauren is going to have a little sister! Can you believe that 7 out of 9 of the people there were pregnant?? And the two who weren't pregnant both had babies under 7 months old. It's gotta be something in the water around here...

Aiden & Me

Here I am playing with my best buddy Aiden. We like to scream at each other (in a very happy, mannerful, baby way), and look at ourselves in the mirror. Aiden is such a happy boy! What a great friend.

My First Tooth - Really!

You may not be able to see it in this picture, but I got my first tooth today! Mommy found it while I was chomping on her hand. (it's on the bottom left) Mommy said she was gonna call the ToothFairy - make sure she's got me on her list. According to mom, the ToothFairy might want to know I'm around so she can save up.

Off to the park we go.

I'm all dressed up and ready to go to the park. Now that the weather is cooler, we spend a lot more time outside. I love watching the wind blowing through the trees. Omygoodness...I need sunglasses.

Let's Go Fly a Kite!!!

Here, daddy is putting the kite together so we can fly it! (I'm the one in the stroller.) YAY! It flies! Look look! It's a dragon kite. How PRETTY. Ohno! It died.

Out for a walk...

Here, mommy and I are on the way to the mailbox. Mommy takes me out in her carrier like this every day. Sometimes we go to the store, sometimes to the park, etc. I love my carrier! Everyone we meet along the way smiles at me and talks to me.

Playdate!

At our playdate on Thursday, I let Annie, Marshall and Connor play in my playgym. They had lots of fun! Mommy had over three of her big friends, and five other kids!!! We had a blast playing together.

Sitting Pretty

Here I am sitting on my surfboard. I'm learning how to sit pretty. (Shh don't tell anyone, but daddy pulled his supporting hands away for just half a second so that mommy could take the picture - I can't REALLY sit up on my own yet, but I'm getting there!)
