Daddy and Mommy bought me a new toy! It helps me to stand on my feet, learn how to walk (not that I'm anywhere near that yet), and it has tons of cool gadgets. Now that I know how to reach and grab, this toy is sure going to be lots of fun! Look, I am learning to play the piano.
This thing is designed to help me to walk around the table as I get older and more able.
Man, so much to do - so little time!!
Mommy gave me my soft, soft stuffed buffalo to play with on our car ride today. And can you believe it? I didn't cry the WHOLE TIME! I love my buffalo!
He makes me so happy.

When mommy and I went out to watch the sunrise today, we noticed the BIGGEST SPIDER EVER sitting on the screen outside my nursery window. His body alone was an inch long. Add in his legs, and he was probably about two inches long. We wonder what kind of spider he is! We also wonder why we don't keep any Raid for spiders in the house...
Mommy put me in my finest slacks yesterday, because we had a cold front come through. It was only 90 degrees!
Grammie and Grampy brought mommy a big, beautiful "Happy Birthday" balloon. I've never seen something so big and pretty and colorful in my life!! It was so much fun to play with Grammie and her balloon.
Here are a few pictures of our humming birds. They are the strangest humming birds ever - they like to stop and sit on our clothesline whenever they're not eating from the feeder. We have about six or seven humming birds that hang out in the mesquite tree behind our house and eat from our feeder throughout the day. They are very territorial - they like to chase each other around.
Every evening before my bath, mommy takes me out to swing in our backyard. I don't really like the sun, but I'm learning to like the swing.
Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy finished setting up my nursery. Last night I slept like a log in my crib all night! They even set up a library for me. Who is going to come visit me and read me some books??
Mommy and Daddy told me that Grammie and Grampie are going to be here in a few weeks. Maybe they will read me books! YAY!
Today mommy let me play in the Super Crazy Baby Einstein Playgym Yay! Of course, she loaded it up with tons of toys. I think she might have taught me what it feels like to be overstimulated.
Mommy even put rattles on my ankles and my wrist. Isn't she crazy?!? Please disregard the fact that I am flashing my underwear. Well, I guess, at least they're stylish.
Here I am watching a Baby Einstein video. Man, those videos are fun! I especially like the puppets with smiley faces. They make me laugh and wiggle.
Today Mommy and I played a fun game. She let me feel different fabrics to see what things feel like. She showed me some of her cords (not bad), a terrycloth rag (eh, a little scratchy), velcro (not very fun), silk (ooooh that was nice), and her silly stringy sarf. This scarf was lots of fun!!!
The best part of the game was at the very end when Mommy let me play with my two softest little bunnies.
We had dinner at Grammie and Grampie's house. Aunt Kristen, Uncle Mark and cousin Brooke also joined us. It was so much fun!!!
Last week I also got to snuggle with Grandma K. Here I am falling asleep in her arms...I was very tired from all of my traveling.

Mommy bought me a tummy time surfboard mat. It's really fun - until I'm tired of tummy time. Look at me! I'm starting to crawl! Unfortunately, though my legs are already strong enough, I have no arm or chest strength, so I'm stuck in the same spot for now, just flailing my legs.
Every morning when I wake, mommy and daddy play the smiling game with me. Here's how it goes: Mommy smiles at me, I smile at mommy. Daddy smiles at me, I smile at daddy. Then I look at myself in the mirror on my swing, and I smile at myself. Then I smile at mommy and daddy some more until I realize I'm hungry and want to eat. Mornings are awesome!
I'm such a ham.
Today mommy tried out a few different carriers she has for me. This is one of the sling carriers - it's so comfy! I fell asleep as soon as she put me in. Don't I look like a baby kangaroo?
Here I am in my swing at our new home in Texas. Unfortunately, I can't remember much about this swing, considering that I fell asleep in it as soon as daddy strapped me in and started swinging me.
Daniel held me while mommy hosed daddy down at his fini flight. She got to use the hose from a big fire truck!! Man-oh-man did daddy get wet!
Then, later, Jenn held me when we went out to Sanford's for our "Good Bye" dinner.
