Daddy's Little Girl

The Best Sunday Ever!

Daddy comes home from Las Vegas today! He graduated yesterday and now we're going to have some time to spend together. I can't wait to see my daddy! Now I have to decide which dress to wear to the airport to pick him up. Should I wear this one? Mommy says all of these dresses are special...once when she was a wee little girl the same age as me, she wore them herself! Thank you, Grandma K for the pretty dresses! Or should I wear this one? Or this one?

Grammie Time!

I was right! Grammie came to Abilene to meet me! And Grammie is so much fun! She sings me songs, tells me fantastic stories, and makes me so happy. Momma and Grammie say that Grampie is pretty great too - now I can't wait to meet him!

Grammie comes to Abilene today! Momma says she's coming for the ice cream...but I think mom's wrong...I think she wants to meet me. Just in case, I'm going to wear one of the ice cream cone outfits she gave me. Then I'll be irresistible!

Weekend's Over - Back To Work!

This weekend was all fun and games...but now that it's Monday, Grandpa and I needed to get some work done. Here we are designing a ski lodge together. I was a big help!

Sunday Best

Every day here is a fashion show! Since I put on my Saturday best yesterday, I figured I should show off my Sunday best today. Thank you for my beautiful dress, Florence!

New Bellybutton!!

Lookie look! My umbilical cord stub fell off this morning! I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BELLY BUTTON! Oh how pretty I am. Now I can go get it pierced. JUST KIDDING, DADDY!

My Saturday Best

Grandpa, Debbie, Mommy and I got dressed in our Saturday best today to take a stroll around the mall. Don't you just love my beautiful dress and matching hat? It's one of my favorites, with a pretty pink flower on my bottom. Boy was I styling! Mommy gave me a nice warm bath to make sure I was all clean and presentable before we left to go to the mall. The bath wasn't fun, but the snugging afterward was OK.

Grandpa is so big and cuddly - I just couldn't resist a little nap. Hooray for Grandpas!

The Afterbath

Today's bath was NOT FUN. But afterward, mommy let me snuggle in my bunny rabbit towel for a nice long time so that I could get warm again. I love my bunny rabbit towel! I'm not sure I'm ready to face the world out there yet...

What a day!

Today, momma took me to the doctor again. The nurse pricked my heel and stole some of my blood! But the doctor was nice...he said I've gained 12 ounces since my last doctors visit, and that I look healthy. Now I weigh 6 lbs 8 oz. He said I'm growing up to be a big girl, and told momma she's doing a good job of feeding me. I can't wait to be a big girl! How exciting! :)

The New Home

Here is the front of our new home. It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, an office, a main living area, and a large yard. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac, so the front yard is pretty small, but the backyard is much bigger. We close on June 23rd. The Main Living Areas

The Kitchen - as seen from the dining room. You can see the main entryway and a little bit of the living room on the right. The kitchen, like the rest of the house, has very high ceilings. These cupboards are so high, I'd need a stepping stool to reach the top shelves. Lots of cupboard space, and newer appliances. Everything stays - I mean, the appliances stay, not the mess. The Main Living Room - As seen from the main entryway. Dining/Kitchen just off to the right. Notice the wood-burning fireplace. The door to the right of the fireplace heads out to the backyard. The Living Room/Dining Room - As seen from the guest bedroom hallway. The living room opens up to the dining room, as shown here, the main entryway is off to the right. The dining room opens into the kitchen, to the right, just behind that wall.

Master Bed and Bath

The Master Bedroom - the picture doesn't do it justice...there are two windows. The house is a split-layout, meaning that the master bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the guest bedrooms - the house is divided by the main living area. The Master Bathroom - again, high ceilings. The master bath has two sinks, a large shower with sliding glass doors, a jetted tub and his/hers closets. The Master Bath Again - here you can see the whirlpool tub and his/hers closets.

More Rooms

The Nursery - beautiful high ceilings and a wide, low window seat with cupboards. The Laundry Room - a built-in pull-out ironing board on the right wall. The room has a door - perfect place for a litterbox! The Study - just inside the front entryway. The room is a lot larger than it looks in this picture...there is a corner desk out of the picture to the left.
