Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch Visit: Take 2

This afternoon, we took our family trip out to Clanton to pick a few good pumpkins to carve at a later date. Here we are, on the hayride down to the pumpkin patch. Grant has found his pumpkin! And I found another perfect one!To some, he may be Mulch. To others, he may be Brian. Most days, he responds to Daddy. But today, he is Sippycuppants Man; keeper and protector of all defenseless sippycups.

First Pumpkin Carving - Fall 2010

Yes, we have already carved our first pumpkins of the season. You didn't expect me to be able to wait, after I had already visited the pumpkin patch, did you? Silly you. Grant calls the bumpy pumpkin his own, but we really know it's Mommy's.

Pumpkin Patch Visit #1 - FBK Fieldtrip

Monday was the first of my multiple annual trips to the Grand Ole Pumpkin Patch in Clanton, AL. Before we get started, let's pause for a photo op! And another...this time with Miss Mary, and my good buddy Aidan. Ooh! Look at the pumpkins Aidan!! Aww...ok. Let's get another good one with the pumpkins. After all, it's early and we're still in good spirits. No whining from anybody, so long as the photo op involves pumpkins and hay! Next, we took a hayride down to the pumpkin patch. I just loved how the tractor matched the pretty sunflowers! Okay, now that we're finally down in the pumpkin patch, let's stop for one more photo op. Now it's time to SEARCH for the PERFECT PUMPKIN! Gotta look carefully! AH! I see one! I had better grab it before someone else does!And now we say, "Ta DA!" as we smile for the last photo op of the day. :) What a fun field trip!
