Giving Thanks

Here I am pausing for a moment for a picture with Mommy, Daddy and Grant, after our Thanksgiving feast. Even though I didn't eat any of the food (other than some mashed potatoes and a bread roll), it was a magnificent spread! YUM YUM! Hommie made us some headdresses to get into the swing of things. Gobble gobble. Err...actually, I'm a little confused what this creature is supposed to say. Baby brother really enjoyed his headdress. The naked bird! Daddy and Dabi, carefully putting the bird into the fryer. Notice daddy's special fire-resistant gloves, jacket and hat. This time, there was no turkey jerky. That bird is perfectly fried! Mommy's Thanksgiving table.

T-day Prep Shenanigans

Conspiring with his Hommie... I think they're planning to take over the universe. Here's my brother, Grant, painting "place card" rocks for our Thanksgiving feast with his Hommie, Dabi and Grandma. Baby brother loves to paint...just about everything within his reach.

Yesterday, Grant and I got to work on our hand print turkey paintings we're going to give our grandparents for Thanksgiving. I got a little frustrated with Grant - he kept putting the wrong colors on his fingers. Mommy found us snuggling together like two little kittens while we watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse this morning.

First Baptist Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

Gobble Gobble! Turkeys eating turkey - hm. Mommy and Grant, waiting for the procession of turkeys, Indians and pilgrims.

Welcome Falling Leaves

This fall, Grant and I got to make (and jump into) our very first leaf pile! Hooray for trees! It didn't take us long to figure out that leaf wars are fun, even though our armies are not well-matched.

Fun With Sunglasses

Grant and I certainly love our sunglasses. Or, maybe I should say that Grant certainly loves MY sunglasses - particularly upside-down. Mommy says this makes me look like three going on thirty.

Puppet Show

Since we have so many Mickey and Minnie dolls, Grant and I decided to put on a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse puppet show for Hommie and Dabie when they visited on Halloween weekend. Here, we are singing, "It's the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - come inside, it's fun inside!"
