Snow Fun Day Two

Mommy, Grant and I went for a sled ride today! Well...I guess mommy sort of went for a sled PULL, actually. Where's my whip? We gotta get this thing going faster...I feel like something is creating drag, here... This whole pulling thing isn't so hard, Mommy, quit your complaining!

Snow Fun Day One

My Grandpa and me. Shoveling the driveway with Grandpa...this might take a while... Snowball fight anyone?? GRANT, DUCK! Just kidding...Head...shoulders knees and... Ahh t'was a beautiful day...

SNOW BOOTS!

Did you say boots or boats? You're too small, Grant, let me try to put on Grandpa's boots...I'm a big girl. Where's the paddle, Grandpa? Grant, schmoozing with Madison. Trying to steal her blankies and toys.

SANTA!

This afternoon, Mommy and Grandma took Grant and me to see Santa for the first time! We enjoyed meeting him, mostly, during the brief moments when we weren't totally freaking out. Hehe.

Christmas Giggles (a.k.a. Christmas Photo Outtakes)

I think baby is trying to say, "Have YOU been good, Santa??"

Stairs - an East Coast Phenomenon

While we visit our grandma, baby Grant and I are learning how to climb stairs. We're getting very good at it too!

Thanksgiving! (belated post)

We spent this Thanksgiving at Grandma's house, hanging out with Grandma, Mommy, Hommie and Dabi. We ate lots of Turkey and pie and played tons of fun games. It's so much fun being around my grandparents again!!! Family photo with mommy - less daddy. Mommy is telling me how things are...hehehe.

VW Baby Bug

Grandma has the coolest VW Bug for me to drive! And you know the best part? Baby is too little, so I get to do all the driving! I especially liked the daisy.

Christmas Market at National Harbor

Mommy and Grandma took us to the Christmas Market at National Harbor this past Saturday. We got hot cider, wandered around vendor's booths, got to watch a water fountain show and see lots of gorgeous Christmas lights. We were very cold, and it was snowing, but we had fun nonetheless. Miss Amy, look at the snow!

National Zoo in DC

Here's mommy, carrying baby bro around the National Zoo. It was a beautiful day! Cousin Courtney and I got to ride in a stroller together...And I showed her the orangutan! We also got to see some really cool elephant tricks! What a fun day!

Grant's Toy Box

Baby Brother likes to climb into his toy chest to play with his toys. Apparently, the chest is sooo big that he can't reach all of his toys from the outside, so he has to climb in. But then, he's so happy surrounded by all his toys, he never gets back out. We have caught him doing this on many occasions...these were taken last Saturday, Nov 1, and this Saturday, Nov 8. But he does it just about every morning when mommy takes him out of his crib.

TRICK OR TREAT!

This year, I got to be an angel for Halloween. And baby Grant was a devil. Mommy said that wasn't quite accurate, that perhaps Grant should have been the angel...I'm not that bad, am I? Well, mommy didn't exactly spend tons of time on my costume, but despite her efforts making it for me, I refused to wear it for longer than it took to get pictures...I did my trick-or-treating in street clothes. But baby wore his costume from the moment he woke up in the morning until the moment he got in bed tonight. He even wore it during his nap! And what a handsome little devil! Nice bowtie... ...and tail!
The whole crew: Angel, Ariel, Devil, Ladybug and the Human Torch Before we had a spooky dinner, we did some Halloween-y arts and crafts. I got to use markers! Mommy doesn't let me use markers at home... Here I am, carving our pumpkin with the help of our neighbor, Mikey. I'm an expert pumpkin carver! This is the finished product - a Jack-O-Lantern!

Believe it or not: First Haircut

Today, Grant and I had our first official haircuts. Mommy took us to this place designed for baby haircuts, where Grant had his hairs cut by someone other than daddy for the very first time, and I had my hairs cut for the first time EVER! Look how pretty they made my hair! And just check out baby's new 'do! He is so handsome. This may be blurry and washed out, but Grant is so cute...mommy couldn't resist.

Grant's First Steps

Here I am, parading around in front of the camera while Grant takes his first steps in the background. I really thought the camera was something else, but apparently mommy thinks the baby walking is a bigger deal.
