Off to the park we go.

I'm all dressed up and ready to go to the park. Now that the weather is cooler, we spend a lot more time outside. I love watching the wind blowing through the trees. Omygoodness...I need sunglasses.

Let's Go Fly a Kite!!!

Here, daddy is putting the kite together so we can fly it! (I'm the one in the stroller.) YAY! It flies! Look look! It's a dragon kite. How PRETTY. Ohno! It died.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall...

More tummy time...but this time with a mirror! Who is that cute girl in the mirror? She makes me happy.

Bouncing on my bed!

Daddy and I have lots of fun when he bounces me on my bed!

Out for a walk...

Here, mommy and I are on the way to the mailbox. Mommy takes me out in her carrier like this every day. Sometimes we go to the store, sometimes to the park, etc. I love my carrier! Everyone we meet along the way smiles at me and talks to me.

Playdate!

At our playdate on Thursday, I let Annie, Marshall and Connor play in my playgym. They had lots of fun! Mommy had over three of her big friends, and five other kids!!! We had a blast playing together.

Sitting Pretty

Here I am sitting on my surfboard. I'm learning how to sit pretty. (Shh don't tell anyone, but daddy pulled his supporting hands away for just half a second so that mommy could take the picture - I can't REALLY sit up on my own yet, but I'm getting there!)

Parent Sitting

Here I am, Daddysitting. All of this sitting takes lots of practice, but it's so much fun! And here I am Mommysitting. Of course, I can't parent sit mommy and daddy at the same time since they're such a handful...so one at a time, please!

OH SO SLEEEEEEEPY

Mommy couldn't wake me from my nap this afternoon - she unraveled my swaddling, opened the shades, turned on music, and flashed her camera in my face multiple times. I just couldn't wake up! Look at me sleep! I'm such a big girl - getting so good at sleeping.

Exercising

Time to exercise! Head up...head down...head up...head down. Tee hee hee. OOH! A Girraffe! That wasn't there last time my head was up! Where did he come from?

The Big Rollover

Watch me roll over for the first time! Boy, did I startle myself - didn't know I was so agile...

Daddy

I love my daddy. I especially love chomping on his fingers.

Vineeta, the Ft Worth Zoo, and Red Hot & Blue

Here I am hamming it up with Vineeta at Red Hot & Blue after our trip to the Ft Worth Zoo. It sure was nice to socialize in a nice cool restaurant after being out in the Texas heat all day! What an exhausting trip! I bet I'll sleep well tonight.

Riding my Horsey

Here, mommy is giving me a horsey ride on her knees. Riding my horsey makes me smile! Man, the Ft Worth Zoo has lots of interesting animals.

Sleepy Alligator

Momma said I fell asleep somewhere near the alligators. I didn't remember falling asleep, so I told her to "Prove it!" Looks like she's right...

Giraffes

Mommy is Vineeta's Phi Sig big sister. The Phi Sig mascott is the giraffe. Here we are with the giraffes!!

BIG DAY at the ZOO!

Mommy and Daddy and I went to the Fort Worth Zoo with Vineeta today! I was a bit tired for this picture, but I was hanging in there 'cuz I knew I could nap on the way home!

Daddy and the Motorcycle Game

Here, Daddy is showing me how to ride my imaginary motorcycle. Who needs expensive toys, when you've got an active imagination! We had so much fun! Daddy wins my first genuine laugh!

A DOLPHIN!

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! A purple dolphin rattle! What could be more fun??

My Tropical Play Gym

Daddy and Mommy bought me a new toy! It helps me to stand on my feet, learn how to walk (not that I'm anywhere near that yet), and it has tons of cool gadgets. Now that I know how to reach and grab, this toy is sure going to be lots of fun! Look, I am learning to play the piano. This thing is designed to help me to walk around the table as I get older and more able. Man, so much to do - so little time!!
